Following 10 years of teaching in Los Angeles, Korpus Founder / Owner + Instructor Rebecca Kimmel decided to take a break from teaching in order to further her own study of figurative art. She hopes to pass on a higher level of artistic knowledge + instruction to her future students. After several years of studying within the classical atelier tradition, she is now back and ready to teach in our new location in Seattle, Washington! A History of Success

From 2011-2018, Korpus School of Art College Portfolio Prep Students were offered over $10 MILLION in Total Financial Aid Packages, including Scholarships, Grants, and Loans to Major Art Schools + Universities!

We are grateful to our many students, from high school age to adult, who shared time with us in our gritty but rapidly gentrifying Downtown LA location with the most amazing views + its attendant army of hipsters! (We also enjoyed our one year of having a second location in Anaheim, CA, but decided that the ‘burbs simply did not compare to the dazzling grittiness which DTLA has to offer)!
